Fauvette 905 Build Project

Fauvette Build

These are some photos of a finished Fauvette built from the laser kit. Despite it's conical fuselage shape, the model is a lot of fun to construct whilst still providing a challenge for intermediate builders.

In good lift the only trim required on the maiden flight was a few clicks of down trim. The model flew fast, turned well and slowed down nicely for landing. A beautiful looking model in the air with a great scale feel.

A short video of the finished Fauvette in action can be found below.

The June/July 1996 issue of Quiet Flight International magazine contains an article on the build of this model. The basic technique described there has been adopted for this build.
